Vacancy: Senior Technician
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Technician to join our team at our Richmond Branch. The ideal candidate will be responsible for vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and managing a small team of mechanics, assistants, and apprentices.

- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
- Working knowledge of electrical DBs and wiring
- Experience with diagnostic equipment and ECUs
- Computer literate
- Strong technical background
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Reconning starters, alternators, and electrical components
- ECUs and key coding
- ECU programming
- Team player with the ability to lead and set high standards
- Professional and thorough knowledge in the field
- Experience in team management
Qualifications / Experience:
- Trade-test Motor Mechanic (Red Seal)
- 5–7 years’ experience in diagnostics and fault finding
- Valid driver’s license
- Advantageous: experience in managing a team
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform services, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles
- Manage a small team of mechanics and apprentices
- Conduct mechanical and electronic diagnostics
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Source and order parts
- Diagnose and repair ECU-related issues
- Repair vehicle wiring and electrical components
- Code keys and program ECUs
- Liaise with internal and external workshops
- Manage vehicle logistics
- Handle all administrative processes for repairs and recon, including approvals and orders
