Senior Technician - Cape Town

Hire Resolve's client is looking for a full-time on-site Senior Technician based in Cape Town, WC. The Senior Technician will be responsible for the below.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of POS systems
• Add and register employees
• Reporting and site management
• Setup and manage POS databases
• Integrate third-party services
• Configure network and serial printers
• Technical troubleshooting and day-to-day support
• Microsoft operating systems from Windows 11 up until Windows Server 2022
• Ability to build, maintain and repair computers, laptops, and servers
• Strong fundamentals of networking and understanding of WLAN, VOIP, WAN, and LAN environments
• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure i.e., Fortinet, Mikrotik, L3 network switches, Dell Servers, etc.

Requirements:

• Punctual and presentable
• Strong work ethic and quick learner
• Ability to work under pressure and motivated
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in IT
• NB. Must have a valid driver’s license
