Job description

Support and Management Responsibilities

End-user support and escalation assistance: Assist end-users and manage VIP support, ensuring procedures are followed.

IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee network and IT infrastructure, including server, storage, and hardware support.

ISO Compliance: Implement ISO controls and manage the ISO ISMS.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor IT consultants within the Internal IT team.

Project Management: Plan and manage IT projects, report on service metrics.

Technical Responsibilities
  • Manage VM Servers via MS Hyper-V & Failover Clustering
  • Manage DELL Storage SAN & VRTX hardware
  • Support servers, notebooks, desktops, backup systems (ArcServe, StorVault, Veeam)
  • Manage LAN (cabling, switching), WAN, firewalls (SonicWALL & FortiGate), wireless technologies (Ruckus)
  • Support 3rd-party software (Quotewerks, GP, etc.)
  • Maintain Microsoft Suite / Azure administration & management
  • Set up secure baseline configurations for workstations/servers
  • Utilize N-Central for network monitoring
  • Remote assistance, patch management, AV management
  • Manage Intune device enrollment
  • Oversee network devices, servers, email filtering (Mimecast), video conferencing equipment
  • Conduct end-user security training (KnowBe4)
  • Handle incident, problem, service request management, and change management
  • Certifications such as CCNA and security certifications are advantageous
