Job summary

Eskom Distribution in Mpumalanga-Ekangala Sector, Machadodorp CNC seeks a Senior Technical Official to ensure continuous power supply by planning, operating, maintaining, repairing and building assets on the 33 kV network.

The role requires adherence to Eskom standards and safety practices, with leadership responsibilities to coach and develop a team, while delivering reliable customer service and maintaining health and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Distribution network operating & maintenance experience is required.
• Completion of practical training in distribution network operation is preferred.

Introduction

Eskom Distribution is looking for Senior Technical Officials, position/task T09. The Department is Operations and Maintenance, and the Business Unit is Limlanga Cluster. The location is Mpumalanga-Ekangala Sector, Machadodorp CNC. Area of specialisation is to ensure the continuity of supply to reticulation and urban customers by executing planning, operating, maintaining, repairing, and building work according to policies, directives, standards, procedures, dead and livework practices, guidelines, and service agreements on the electrical network up to and including 33 kV kilovolts(kV).
