Standard Bank Group in Johannesburg is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to translate business requirements into robust Java/J2EE solutions, and to design, test, and deploy within CD/DevOps pipelines.

You will mentor junior engineers, review code, and ensure adherence to architectural standards while delivering data-driven features across platforms. Strong leadership and hands-on development are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in Information Technology or related field required.
• Postgraduate degree preferred.
• 5–7 years broad IT engineering experience.
• 8–10 years with DevOps, Agile and multi-disciplinary IT engineering.
• Proficiency in Software Engineering, OO design, and development.
• Strong leadership with hands-on architect/developer experience.
• Experience in BAW/BPM, SOA, system architecture and design.
• Experience with Java/J2EE and web technologies.
