Job summary

DeARX is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Delivery Lead to oversee end-to-end delivery of complex IT initiatives within the Markets Division in Sandton. You will drive multi-team delivery across technology, architecture, business and vendor stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet business needs while maintaining IT stability.

The role emphasizes closing architecture gaps, coordinating integration points, managing risks, and guiding governance across projects.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years' IT experience across multiple IT disciplines
• Proven experience as Technical Delivery Lead / Delivery leadership
• Experience delivering complex technology initiatives with multiple technical teams
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management experience
• Banking or financial services environment experience is highly advantageous
• Matric plus a relevant tertiary IT qualification
• Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Honours or relevant professional qualification
• MMP or equivalent ITSM qualification will be advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects within scope, budget and timelines
• Coordinate across technology teams, architecture, business and vendors to enable decisions
• Manage innovation, BAU initiatives and technical work requests
• Ensure adherence to approved methodologies, governance and delivery standards
• Monitor progress, risks, issues and dependencies with dashboards and governance forums
• Manage escalations, delivery conflicts and integration matters
• Ensure designs align with architecture roadmaps and enterprise standards
• Drive closure of architecture and solution gaps with positioning papers as needed
• Act as liaison for integration points between apps, technology teams and business areas
• Manage risks, audit findings and remediation activities
• Oversee application support, maintenance, health and stability
• Ensure IT change, release and governance processes are followed
• Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, technology teams and vendors
• Facilitate prioritisation, planning and delivery sessions
• Provide technical guidance on complex technology environments and solutions
