Job summary

Network Finance is assisting an established organisation in Germiston to recruit a Senior Tax Consultant / Accountant. This role blends accounting and tax work with active client engagement and business development to grow the client portfolio.

The successful candidate will have completed SAIPA or SAICA articles, an accounting/finance degree, and will bring practical accounting or tax experience with a client-facing mindset.

Qualifications

• Relevant Finance/Accounting degree.
• Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles.
• Post-articles experience (approx. 1 year) is acceptable.
• Client-facing exposure is advantageous.
• Interest in business development.

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and tax-related services.
• Assist with tax compliance and related requirements.
• Manage accounting responsibilities and client deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
• Participate actively in business development.
• Engage with prospective clients and assist in generating new business.
• Provide professional financial and tax-related support to clients.
