Network Finance seeks a Senior Tax Consultant/Accountant to manage a full accounting and tax portfolio for a diverse client base. The role involves financial reporting, tax compliance, and direct liaison with SARS on behalf of clients.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or higher diploma (non-negotiable).
• Completed articles.
• Professional affiliations with SAICA/SAIPA/ACCA/CIMA/SAIBA advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience in an accounting firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full accounting and tax portfolio.
• Perform complete accounting function through to trial balance.
• Produce monthly management reports.
• Draft annual financial statements for entities using CaseWare.
• Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals and companies.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns for all entities.
• Provide tax and accounting advisory services to clients.
• Manage SARS correspondence and related matters.
• Submit objections and appeals via eFiling.
• Ensure compliance with tax legislation and accounting standards.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Travel to clients as required.
• Work under pressure to meet deadlines.
