SARS is seeking a highly skilled professional for advanced tax auditing in the Western Cape, Cape Town. The role requires expertise in auditing, tax investigations, forensic auditing, and digital forensics, with emphasis on testifying in court proceedings and adherence to complex legislation.

The ideal candidate will have an Honours in Accounts/Tax or related fields, CA(SA) registration, or related advanced qualifications, and substantial experience in tax audit environments.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree / Advanced Diploma (NQF 7) in Audit/Tax/Accounting and 8 years' experience in tax audit environment.
• Registration with professional bodies (SAICA/SAIT/ACCA/ACCA/SAIPA/ACFE/LPC) is advantageous.
• Honours degree in Accounts/Tax or related studies, or related certifications would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse a wide spectrum of highly complex tax transactions and determine compliance with legislation.
• Provide technical support to auditors on complex matters.
• Prepare detailed, high-level communications and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Testify in civil court on matters of a highly complex nature when required.
• Coordinate and support dispute resolution and debt management related to audits.
