Job summary

GAP Consulting in South Africa seeks a Senior Tax Administrator to join our accounting practice. The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Tax Administration, with a tertiary qualification in Tax, Accounting or Finance.

SARS Tax Practitioner registration is advantageous and proficiency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel is essential. Knowledge across Income Tax, Provisional Tax, CGT, VAT, PAYE, SARS eFiling, IT14SD, Tax Compliance, Verifications, Objections, Disputes and VDP applications

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Tax, Accounting or Finance is required.
• Must have 5+ years' experience as Senior Tax Administrator or Tax Administrator in an accounting practice or tax practice environment.
• Registration as a SARS Tax Practitioner is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• ProfSoft knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, Provisional Tax, CGT, VAT, PAYE, SARS eFiling and related tax compliance processes.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registration as a Registered SARS Tax Practitioner will be advantageous
• Proficient in MS Outlook | Microsoft Word | Microsoft Excel essential
• Knowledge of ProfSoft will be advantageous
• Strong knowledge of Income Tax | Provisional Tax | Capital Gains Tax (CGT) | Dividend Tax | VAT | PAYE | SARS eFiling | IT14SD | Tax Compliance | SARS Verifications | Objections | Disputes | VDP Applications will be beneficial
• Valid Driver's License and own Transport preferred
• Contactable references and payslips required

Salary Structure:
