Job summary

DataFin Recruitment seeks a Systems Engineer (EW, DOORS) to join a leading defence-focused team in Centurion. You will manage sub-system requirements, drive interfaces between subsystems, and ensure verifiable, testable specifications across system levels.

A strong background in requirements management and experience with DOORS is essential. The role involves eliciting requirements from Technical Product Managers, performing analyses for traceability, and supporting verification and validation

Qualifications

• Eng./BSc Engineering Degree or similar qualification.
• Systems Engineering courses.
• 3+ years’ development experience, preferably in Military EW domain.
• Experience with DOORS or similar Requirements Management tool.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teamwork in a technical project environment.
• Knowledge of Development Processes and Product Management processes.
• Knowledge of System Engineering processes.
• Experience in the defence EW environment.
• Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Manage sub system requirements and integration, system testing and problem solving.
• Analyse requirements for completeness, verifiability, traceability and alignment between subsystems.
• Ensure test requirements are available at system, sub-system and item levels.
• Be responsible for requirements management from compilation to functional analysis and interfaces.
• Elicit and manage requirements from Technical Product Managers.
• Provide technical feedback to Product Managers on sub system requirements.
• Lead product verification, validation and integration activities.
