Job summary

Mr Price Group Careers is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist in Durban to provide enterprise-class server, storage and cloud support. The role covers on-premises and cloud environments, upgrades, and ensuring high availability across the IT estate.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Intune and Microsoft 365 services, plus hands-on backup, DR design and security practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent required.
• MCSE/MCITP certifications preferred.
• 5+ years in a technical role handling servers and storage.
• Strong knowledge of Azure AD, Intune and Microsoft 365 services.
• Experience with backup, recovery design and DR implementations.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on management of enterprise-class server, storage and cloud infrastructure.
• Configure, upgrade, install and manage server and storage tools.
• Perform capacity planning to ensure scalability and availability.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and configuration issues across the enterprise.
• Maintain servers and storage with structured maintenance plans.
• Lead and mentor junior team members in daily operations.
• Follow ITIL change control processes and governance.
