Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Systems Biology, Computational Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in systems biology research, focusing on modeling complex networks.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis, mathematical modeling and computational approaches.
• Programming in Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis and simulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement computational models of biological systems (metabolic networks, signaling pathways, gene regulation).
• Integrate diverse experimental data types (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics) into systems biology frameworks.
• Analyze large biological datasets to identify key mechanisms and predict system behavior.
• Collaborate with experimental biologists to design hypothesis-driven experiments.
• Validate model predictions through experiments and refine models accordingly.
• Utilize statistical and machine learning methods for data analysis and model building.
• Present findings to scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Contribute to the strategic direction of systems biology research within the company.
