Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Analyst to join our IT department in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will bridge business needs and technical solutions, analyzing complex problems, designing system specifications, and overseeing implementation of enhancements.
The role requires strong analytical skills, deep IT systems knowledge, and excellent communication to liaise between technical teams and business stakeholders across the region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, BA, or related field.
- 5+ years as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst in IT.
- Ability to analyze complex business problems and propose IT solutions.
- Strong SDLC and project management understanding.
- Excellent documentation and requirements gathering skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into detailed system specifications and functional designs.
- Evaluate existing IT systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions.
- Develop process flows, data models, and user stories to document system requirements.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the accurate implementation of system designs.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide training and support to end-users.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation for system changes and project updates.
