Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join their team based in Stellenbosch. This role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities including presales support project system integration testing and product lifecycle management. You will work closely with customers project teams and thirdparty vendors to deliver highquality technical solutions.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Minimum Requirements :

BEng Degree in a relevant field.

• 3 years of experience in systems engineering telecoms RF or software development.
• Ideal Candidate :

Masters Degree in Engineeringwith additional qualifications inProject Management or Systems Engineering.

• 5 years of experience in systems engineering telecoms RF or software development.

Key Responsibilities :

Requirement & Specification Management :

Elicit and define customer / user needs.

• Derive and document system and solution requirements.
• Validate and verify requirement specifications.
• Proposal Preparation :

Design and propose solutions to meet customer requirements.

• Provide technical inputs for proposals and project planning.
• Project :

Detailed Solution Design :

• Provide technical guidance to project teams.
• System Integration & Testing :

Support integration and testing activities.

• Contribute to test plans and risk mitigation strategies.

Identify and mitigate risks affecting project deliverables.

• Installation Upgrades & Site Acceptance :

Oversee onsite installation and system integration.

• Plan and support upgrade activities including test plan reviews.
• Manage solution qualification tests and site acceptance testing (SAT).
