We're Hiring: Senior System Analyst

Are you a seasoned Systems Analyst with deep expertise in Payments and Forex systems? Do you thrive in complex, cross-functional environments where technology meets business transformation?

Join our innovative team as our next Senior Systems Analyst and take the lead in designing innovative IT solutions that drive critical financial services across borders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end systems analysis efforts for major initiatives, upgrades, and enhancements.
• Analyse and design complex integrations including APIs, SWIFT, ISO20022, and real-time payment flows.
• Produce detailed functional and system specifications using industry-standard modeling tools (UML 2.5, Use Cases, ERD, sequence diagrams).
• Guide and mentor junior analysts while owning the analysis scope of enterprise-level projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional requirements in agile, iterative environments.
• Ensure traceability from business requirements to final delivery and assist QA with testing strategies.

Domain Expertise Required

• Cross-border payments (SWIFT, ISO20022: PAIN/PACS/CAMT, MT Series)
• Financial surveillance & reporting (Finsurv, SARB, Exchange Control Regulations)
• SAMOS and local market RTGS systems
• Deep understanding of Forex IT infrastructure, account posting flows, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 10 or more relevant systems analysis experience
• 4–5 years in Payments and Forex industry domain experience
• Strong working knowledge of Use Cases and UML.
• CBAP certification and/or relevant degree or diploma
• Exposure to the system or applicants being developed would be an added advantage.
• All elements that make up the Forex IT infrastructure
• Development and Production Incident Management
• Scope Change Management
