Job summary

Hollywoodbets in Durban seeks an accomplished Logistics and Supply Chain Manager to lead a complex supply chain across procurement, inventory, warehousing, and distribution. You will optimize costs, implement strategies, and build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.

You will manage a team, develop metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement through technology and data-driven decisions in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM/Logistics or related field.
• 7+ years in logistics and supply chain with managerial experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or FMCG and global logistics.
• Strong negotiation, analytics and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
• Develop strategies to reduce costs and improve service levels.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers, and 3PLs.
• Negotiate contracts with logistics partners.
• Monitor inventory and implement control measures.
• Develop supply chain metrics and reports.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with relevant trade laws.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team.
• Identify and implement tech solutions for visibility.
• Develop contingency plans for risks.
