Senior Supply Chain Consultant

We are looking for a Senior Supply Chain Consultant to join our supply chain team in building a world-class supply chain outsourcing and consulting business. IQ's Supply Chain LoB supports clients across different domains: Procurement, Warehousing, Logistics, Manufacturing, Planning, and Scenario modelling.

In this role as a consultant, your main focus will be the delivery of Supply Chain projects and creation of capabilities to take to market. The Opportunity

As a Senior Supply Chain Consultant, you will be responsible for sourcing opportunities, developing proposals, delivering projects, and developing solutions and capabilities which differentiate IQbusiness in the market and thought leadership amongst our clients and in the industry. As a Senior Consultant, your role will focus on being a subject matter expert to drive transformational initiatives.

You will work independently as well as in teams at our clients, supporting them with improving their business performance.

You will use your quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to help structure and analyse the problems of the client, and report the findings and results. You will use your years of experience to suggest viable alternatives based on prior experience. Drawing on your knowledge, skills, and experience, you will start to build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships to increasingly become a trusted point of contact in Supply Chain and Operations.
2. Complete deliverables within your remit.
3. Be an active member of a core project team, providing significant Subject Matter Expertise, often working with others from different parts of IQbusiness.
4. Contribute to the development of proposals to showcase some of our leading practices.
5. Maintain a personal development program to continually enhance your technical and consulting skills.

Skills and Attributes

1. Proven track record of implementing end-to-end supply chain projects inclusive of transforming Processes, Technology, and People.
2. Minimum of 6+ years' work experience in a Supply Chain environment (Consulting or business).
3. A degree preferably in the field of Business, Operations management, Supply Chain Management, or a technical/engineering discipline or similar studies.
4. An analytical and structured way of working, strong in conceptual thinking, with a great drive and enthusiasm.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to engage effectively with peers and senior stakeholders.
6. Proactive and energetic, with innovative qualities that enable high-quality work to be delivered often in relatively short timeframes.
7. Fluent language skills in English.
