We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer / Technologist : Water & Sanitation to join our client's team in Senderwood.

As a Senior Water Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and management of water engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the water sector and be professionally registered with ECSA .

Key Responsibilities :

• Design & Engineering : Develop designs for bulk water networks, stormwater systems, pipelines, pump stations, sewage treatment, and water resource management.
• Project Delivery : Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgets, quality, and timelines.
• Construction & Compliance : Oversee site work, contractor coordination, health and safety, and compliance with engineering standards.
• Cost & Budgeting : Prepare project budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Technical Leadership : Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and professional development.

Requirements :

• Qualification : BEng / BSc Eng / BTech in Civil Engineering
• Professional Registration : Pr. Eng / Pr. Tech (or eligible for registration)
• Experience :

Minimum eight years in Water & Sanitation Engineering Consulting

• Expertise in water and sanitation design and site-based work

Technical Skills & Knowledge :

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HECRAS, EPANET, Model Maker, Stormwater Software
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, project management, budgeting, and cost control
• Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety regulations
