Senior Store Manager | Sandton | Fashion Retail Brand

Fashion Retail Brand is seeking an experienced SENIOR STORE MANAGER to join their team in Morning Side Centre, Sandton. The Store Manager will be responsible for strategically driving results to ensure that the store achieves maximum sales, productivity, and profit goals through effective leadership, communication, world-class service, talent management, merchandising excellence, and operational compliance. The role involves motivating teams and creating a vibrant, energetic store environment.

Competencies Required:

1. Excellent customer service and people management skills
2. Retail experience with a flair for visual merchandising and understanding numbers and administration
3. Ability to drive turnover to ensure achievement of targets
4. Expenses controlling management
5. Managing stock losses to ensure shrinkage is in line with the Company standards
6. People management skills; development of staff, employee relations, performance management, etc.
7. Superb interpersonal and organisational skills
8. Excellent time management skills
9. Superior Microsoft Office skills
10. An ability to work independently with little or no supervision
11. A solid aptitude for interpreting and reacting to retail market trends in a timely fashion

Requirements:

1. A combination of or equivalent to the completion of post-secondary education
2. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior Store Manager / Junior Area Manager preferably in the fashion / apparel / footwear brand environment
3. Strong sales experience
4. Proficient in Microsoft applications
5. Must be sales-focused with a proven sales track record
6. Strong problem-solving skills and proven ability to use your own initiative
7. Knowledge and ability to effectively apply company strategy/policy/procedure at store level
8. Outstanding leadership skills
9. Ability to manage a functional team
10. GO-GETTER attitude and positive outlook on life
11. Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
12. Good report writing
13. High level of organisation
14. Good interpersonal skills
15. Motivational skills
16. Mentoring skills
17. Driver's licence and own vehicle – travelling is required
18. Willingness to work at Store level should the need arise

Salary: R20,000 CTC a month
Start: ASAP
