Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join the team in Johannesburg. You will design, build and scale secure, reliable infrastructure for a crypto trading platform, leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform and AWS to support millions of users across multiple regions.

You will champion security-first practices, lead IaC initiatives, and enable other teams by provisioning scalable infrastructure while navigating audits and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in software engineering/DevOps/SRE/Platform roles.
• Proficient with Kubernetes in production (containerized environments).
• Experience with Terraform for large infrastructure projects.
• Experience deploying and managing AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to SRE projects securing scalable infrastructure.
• Build and scale infrastructure, CI/CD using IaC for the crypto platform.
• Ensure security-first approach and compliance audits.
• Enable teams by provisioning scalable infrastructure.
