The role is responsible for the development and implementation of the Mobile Business strategy. The role will manage, coordinate the commercial strategy for the Mobile Business and execution of the role must build a motivated, high-performing Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Customer Experience team which delivers on revenue and profitability budgets. Leads the development of end-to-end customer journey experience by deciding on standards, knowledge, skills and behaviours required to meet the expectations of the customers.
MOBILE BUSINESS STRATEGY AND PLANNING
In conjunction with the COMPANY Executive Management Team, participates in and develops the 3 to 5-year Strategic Plan for the Mobile market
Develop and grow the Mobile business.
Develop, design and formulate key strategic mobile sales and sets BU directional goals and objectives.
Increase Mobile Sales Revenue, in line with set targets
Provide leadership on managing customers and resolve customer issues while maintaining and growing existing customer base and managing churn.
Develop granular monthly, weekly, daily plans to ensure revenue targets are achieved for the Mobile business
Develop customer data-driven strategies across the sales segments to build stronger relationships with our customers and higher levels of loyalty.
NEW BUSINESS, CUSTOMER AND STAKEHOLDER RELATIONSHIPS
New Business
Develop plans to create and grow new business sales
Negotiate and manage contracts and authorises new business contracts to increase revenue.
Develop and oversee Customers’ acquisition plans and implementation to achieve the targets in the Sales Plan through direction to the Sales teams
Channel Management and Stakeholders Relationships
Works with our company stakeholders on our wireless spectrum assets
Identifies, engages and builds relationships with strategic channel stakeholders to assist in the growth and future revenue.
Evaluates sales and channel models and their performance and directs implementation of cost effective and efficient models.
Develops and ensures the implementation of the strategies for new channels/partners and incentive schemes
MANAGEMENT OF SALES, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, CUSTOMER VALUE MANAGEMENT AND PRICING FUNCTIONS IN DEPARTMENT
Lead our product and pricing evolution in the Mobile Business space
Develop and implement pricing strategy to ensure COMPANY remain relevant & profitable in the market
Mobile Product development & Lifecycle management
Develop GTM strategy to support mobile product rollout & uptake
Responsible to develop mobile & fixed wireless access Device strategy and roadmap
Support legal, governance & compliance
STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
Responsible for building a team for the Mobile Business with the necessary skills & experience to deliver on performance targets
Responsible for staff evaluation, identifies performance strengths and deficiencies, and arranges for necessary corrective action
Manages team in line with the company’s policies and procedures

Decides and informs on the 3–5-year strategy for the Mobile Business and its impact on the COMPANY performance
Decides on strategic sales plan with a view to grow revenue Mobile Business
Decides on budget allocation, measurement & reporting for Mobile Business
Decides on customer segmentation

Decides on the pricing strategy for Line of business
Decides on price setting in order to maintain price competitiveness
Decides on acceptable margins per product / scenario
Decides on the methodology and go to market plan for the Product line of business.

The end-to-end lifecycle management of Mobile Business customers from quote to cash and the ongoing service assurance and service maintenance; customer acquisition and retention;
Building a team for Mobile business and the performance of the team

Determining product value proposition, product bundles, setting customer profiles through Marketing to achieve optimal GTM
The management of new and existing products to successfully support the Business of COMPANY.
Determining performance measurements and applying corrective measurement where necessary
Formal Qualifications Required
Matric
Relevant B.Sc. or BCom degree
Post Graduate Degree (DESIREABLE)
