Job Summary

To provide advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics; enabling the provision of specialist business development expertise.

Job Description
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain professional relationships through networking with industry leaders, regulators, policy makers, and key business partners involved in the development of new ventures.
  • Business Development: Lead and manage the strategic plan for bulk business acquisition in line with Absa Business Unit strategy.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence through research, reading articles, publications, online sources, word of mouth, and networking to stay updated on market developments.
  • People Management: Coach, mentor, and manage team members to achieve business objectives and support colleague development.
  • Operations & Compliance: Stay informed about relevant legislation, industry developments, and compliance requirements that may impact the Business Advantage.
Education

Bachelor’s Degree and Professional Qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Management Studies (Required)
