Job summary

Liberty Group Limited is seeking an Agile Coach to enhance team performance through coaching and training in Agile methodologies. This role involves collaborating with teams to facilitate discussions and implement best practices in Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks across the organization. The successful candidate will have substantial experience in coaching and certifications in Agile practices, ensuring continuous improvement and team accountability.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience coaching individuals on Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct training sessions on Agile fundamentals for new team members.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide ongoing coaching that enables teams to excel at agile development.
  2. Facilitate discussions leading to collective decision-making, goal setting, and conflict resolution.
  3. Continuously improve team performance by promoting joint accountability and solving productivity issues.
  4. Coach Product Owners and Scrum Masters to focus on delivering incremental business value while maintaining an engineering culture.
  5. Facilitate cross-team meetings, helping teams resolve dependencies and navigate complex trade-offs.
  6. Engage in problem-solving sessions with team leads on developing long-term strategies aligned with Agile and company goals.
  7. Conduct training sessions on Agile fundamentals for new team members and provide SAFe training for all roles.
  8. Support business units outside traditional software development in adopting Agile principles and methods.
  9. Facilitate organizational transformation related to new ways of working across the organization.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Agile and Scaled Agile frameworks.
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Experience coaching individuals on Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in key disciplines such as software development or business analysis.
  • Relevant Agile certifications, including Safe Program Consultant (SPC).
