About the Role

Our client, a growing consultancy firm specializing in digital transformation, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Solutions Architect .

This role is based in our Paarl, Western Cape office and offers a hybrid working model, balancing the need for in-person collaboration with the benefits of remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and strategic objectives.
• Design and architect end-to-end technology solutions, encompassing cloud infrastructure, applications, and data platforms.
• Develop detailed architectural documentation, including diagrams, specifications, and implementation plans.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable technologies, platforms, and tools to meet client requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Ensure solutions are designed for scalability, security, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct architectural reviews and ensure adherence to industry best practices and standards.
• Collaborate with client IT teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth adoption and integration of solutions.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a solutions architecture or similar technical role.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering complex solutions, preferably in a consulting or client-facing capacity.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Experience with various architectural styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven) and technologies.
• Proficiency in system integration, API design, and data management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
