Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team, designing and deploying scalable cloud-native applications and infrastructure. You will help shape architecture and implement robust services for high availability on cloud platforms.

You will collaborate with product managers and architects, write clean, tested code, and mentor junior engineers while contributing to a culture of technical excellence in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional software development experience with cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, Java, Go, Node.js).
• Experience with microservices, containers, and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineers to define requirements and designs.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
