Job summary

The Catalyst Group is seeking a Senior Associate – Software Development to join the Technology & Product Solutions team in Cape Town. You will design, build, and support enterprise‑grade, cloud‑native solutions on the Microsoft technology stack, contributing across application development, cloud services, integrations, automation, and AI‑enabled capabilities.

You will work with clean code, modern architectures, and secure, scalable practices, collaborating with product owners and business users

Qualifications

5–7 years of software development or platform engineering experience.
Strong experience across the Microsoft technology stack.
Hands-on experience with cloud development, ideally on Microsoft Azure.
Strong understanding of APIs, integration, and system interoperability.
Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript; C#/.NET advantageous.
Experience designing and supporting enterprise-grade systems.
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications on Microsoft technologies.
Contribute to Azure-based services with secure, scalable patterns.
Design RESTful APIs and integrations with internal/third-party systems.
Develop Power Platform solutions and automate business processes.
Integrate AI capabilities and ensure responsible AI practices.
Provide governance, documentation, and collaboration with stakeholders.
Ensure security, risk management, and compliance in solutions.
