BET Software seeks a Senior Software Developer to spearhead the creation and integration of complex software solutions.

Responsibilities

1. Designing, coding, and testing applications while providing technical leadership to the development team.
2. Considering all reasonable factors, identifying potential alternative strategies, and formulating supporting plans while ensuring adherence to best practices.
3. Implementing complete, correct, and efficient solutions that meet specified tasks and objectives.
4. Ensuring checked-in code meets standards, performance requirements, and is compatible with other systems.
5. Ensuring solutions are user-friendly, reliable, and perform efficiently without negatively impacting other solutions.
6. Designing solutions that allow users to achieve goals effectively and efficiently while providing a pleasing and satisfying interaction experience.
7. Ensuring solutions perform appropriately under various conditions, respond to outages and failures promptly, and ensure data recoverability.
8. Implementing secure and maintainable solutions that protect information and data, ensuring appropriate access levels, and maintaining data integrity.
9. Ensuring solutions are robust, durable, and capable of evolving over time to meet changing requirements.
10. Supporting ease of modification, adhering to standards and methods, and promoting reusability to reduce maintenance burdens.
11. Ensuring solutions are test-friendly, complete, and adaptable for different operational environments.
12. Providing proactive support to peers, testing, development, and operational teams to minimize escalations and downtime.
13. Troubleshooting and resolving issues effectively to contribute to solution stability and efficiency.
14. Coaching and mentoring team members, providing guidance, training, and problem-solving assistance.
15. Contributing to the growth of junior and intermediate team members, designing and delivering end-user training, and facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.
16. Fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement within the organization.
17. Driving a culture of collaboration and open communication within the team.
