The Make it Good Company is excited to partner with an award-winning, cutting-edge (medium-sized) creative agency in the search for their new Senior Social Media Strategist.
They specialise in making culture-shaping sports and entertainment content and creative campaigns for broadcasters, streamers, brands, teams, athletes, events, and fans.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns across various platforms (Tiktok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
Paid Social Media Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive paid social media strategies that align with overall marketing objectives and drive measurable results.
Budget Management: Oversee paid social media budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and maximizing return on investment.
Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to develop engaging and high-performing ad creatives for social media platforms.
Performance Analysis: Track and analyze campaign performance, providing regular reports and insights to optimize future campaigns.
Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date on social media trends, emerging platforms, and best practices in paid social media advertising.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (marketing, creative, sales) and external partners (media agencies, influencers) to achieve campaign goals.
Reporting: Have an educated ability to understand social media data and convert it into comprehensive reports to present to management and clients.
Requirements
MUST be into sports
Bachelor's Degree: in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Experience: 5+ years of experience in social media marketing, with a strong focus on paid social media advertising.
Sports Industry Experience: Proven experience in developing and executing successful social media campaigns in the sports industry is highly preferred.
Platform Expertise: Deep understanding of social media advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Twitter Ads, etc.) and their respective targeting and optimization capabilities.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach to campaign management and optimization.
Creative Mindset: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative social media ad campaigns that capture attention and drive engagement.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights in a clear and concise manner.
Sports Love: A natural and deep love and understanding for general sports, but close affiliation to Football, Rugby, and Cricket a plus.
