Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Senior Smart Contract Auditor to join a globally distributed, fully remote team. You will rigorously audit, review, and test smart contracts to ensure security, integrity, and gas efficiency across platforms like Ethereum and Binance Smart Chain.

The role requires deep Solidity expertise, familiarity with Hardhat/Truffle, and strong communication skills to explain findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in smart contract development and auditing, with a portfolio of reviewed projects.
• Expertise in Solidity and proficiency with smart contract development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
• Strong understanding of common smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, integer overflow/underflow, access control issues).
• Familiarity with formal verification methods and security analysis tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits and code reviews of smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain).
• Identify and document vulnerabilities, logic errors, and potential exploits within smart contract code.
• Develop and execute test cases to verify contract functionality, security, and gas efficiency.
• Provide detailed audit reports with clear explanations of findings and actionable recommendations for remediation.
• Stay current with emerging smart contract security best practices, attack vectors, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with development teams to explain audit findings and guide them through the process of implementing fixes.
