Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Smart Contract Auditor to join our fully remote security team. You will rigorously examine contracts for vulnerabilities, bugs, and risks before deployment to mainnet, contributing to the safety of DeFi protocols and decentralized applications.

The ideal candidate has proven auditing experience, solid knowledge of EVM and Solidity, and familiarity with tools like Slither and MythX, with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings

Qualifications

• Proven experience in smart contract auditing and security analysis.
• Deep understanding of blockchain technology and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with common auditing tools (e.g., Slither, MythX).
• Strong grasp of common smart contract vulnerabilities and attack vectors.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to meticulously review complex code.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive security audits of smart contracts written in languages like Solidity and Vyper.
• Identify and document vulnerabilities, including reentrancy, integer overflows, and gas limit issues.
• Provide clear, actionable recommendations for remediation of identified security flaws.
• Develop and maintain robust auditing methodologies and testing frameworks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest smart contract exploits and security best practices.
• Collaborate with developers to explain audit findings and guide secure coding practices.
