Hatch is currently seeking a highly motivated Senior Planner to join our Project Delivery Group (PDG) in Gurgaon / Gurugram, India.

The Senior Planner is responsible for the delivery of project planning and progress measurement, ensuring that Hatch procedures and best practices are applied, as appropriate, and recommending changes to the Project Controls Manager where required.

The Project Planner is responsible for developing and maintaining the project master schedule to meet the project objectives.

As the successful candidate, you will:

Key Responsibilities

1. Safety: Have a strong personal commitment to safety, take personal responsibility for safety incident reporting, embrace behavioral-based safety ethos, and report unsafe behavior for corrective action. Familiarize with Hatch safety processes, protocols, and procedures.
2. FEL3 data verification and Project set-up: Meet with Functional Managers to finalize FEL4 project setup schedule, conduct planning meetings, finalize project schedules, and refine FEL4 level 3 scheduling including early works and schedule basis.
3. Project master schedule development: Confirm and refine FEL4 level 3 scheduling, identify and schedule critical vendor data, populate quantities and labor, participate in schedule risk analysis, and maintain schedule basis.
4. Project schedule monitoring and updates: Generate weekly updates, monitor progress, optimize schedules, and highlight issues. Develop progress curves, resource profiles, and four-week look-ahead schedules. Monitor slippages and critical paths.
5. Project trend and change management: Maintain and optimize schedules post-change approval, monitor progress, and address potential concerns.
6. Project progress measurement and earned value: Generate weekly progress reports, obtain progress info from various reports, and calculate progress for construction packages.

Qualifications and Experience:

Essential

• Tertiary qualification in engineering or relevant discipline or appropriate experience
• 8-15 years of experience as a planner in a multi-discipline project environment
• Sound technical knowledge, knowledge of estimating and tendering processes, Primavera P6 proficiency, understanding of work methods, risk management principles, project management principles, and contract forms.

Preferred skills include interpersonal and communication skills, computer literacy, ability to work under pressure, planning and organizing, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
