Senior Site Manager

Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage all aspects of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Supervise, coordinate, and monitor the work of contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health and safety regulations, site rules, and legislation.
- Review and approve work schedules, ensuring that deadlines and project milestones are met.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, budget status, and issues that may affect the timeline or quality of the project.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control procedures are followed.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns or changes to project scope.
- Handle and resolve any on-site issues, including technical problems or conflicts between team members.
- Manage procurement of materials and equipment to ensure timely availability for ongoing projects.
- Lead and mentor junior site managers, supervisors, and other construction staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintain and manage site documentation, including daily logs, contracts, and records of inspections, to ensure proper project administration.
- Ensure that all work complies with environmental and sustainability standards.
Requirements :
A minimum of 10 years’ experience in site management, with proven experience managing large construction projects.Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of contractors and site personnel effectively.Solid understanding of construction processes, technical knowledge, and building regulations.Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field (e.g., Degree, National Diploma, or equivalent).Experience with construction management software and tools is an advantage.Own transport is a plus for site visits.
