Placements24 is seeking a Site Electrical Engineer to oversee electrical operations at a Queenstown facility. The role requires hands-on management of installation, testing, and maintenance of all electrical systems on site.

You will lead site teams, coordinate with contractors, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards to drive project success in a key regional location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of site-based electrical engineering experience.
• Experience managing electrical construction and maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and site management practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site electrical installations, maintenance, and repair activities.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to mitigate risks.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on site.
• Maintain accurate site records including progress reports and safety docs.
