SITE AGENT (CONSTRUCTION) - Western Cape

Competitive salary offered based on qualification and experience. An established and reputable commercial construction firm is seeking a highly efficient, proactive, and presentable Site Agent to join their team of professionals.

Qualifications and Experience:
  1. B-Tech, BSc in Construction Management, or National Diploma in Building or related field.
  2. 8-10 years of proven site agent experience in managing multi-disciplinary commercial construction projects.
  3. 5+ years of people management experience, overseeing construction teams and subcontractors.
  4. Experience in commercial, industrial, or high-end residential projects valued at R40 Million or more.
  5. Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
  6. Computer literacy in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with MS Projects or CCS.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Programme management and drafting project programmes.
  2. Managing project timelines and issuing micro programmes fortnightly.
  3. Managing the site team and subcontractors.
  4. Attending and presenting at site meetings, managing client and professional team relationships.
  5. End-to-end project management, including site orders and waste management.
  6. Ensuring site presentation and compliance with industry regulations and drawings.
  7. Monitoring progress and managing the project administration.
  8. Ensuring project completion within scheduled timelines.
  9. Adhering to health and safety regulations.
  10. Compiling progress reports and handover documentation.
  11. General office administration, including recording site instructions, managing drawings, and maintaining a photo library.
  12. Reporting on drawing issues, work quality, and project progress.
