Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Simulation and Analysis Sales Representative to join our team.

Based in Gauteng for at least the first year, this role offers hybrid work flexibility and involves mostly local day-trip client visits.

Reporting to the Sales Director, you will:

  • Drive new logo acquisition—identify, qualify, and engage prospective clients in engineering and manufacturing.
  • Manage a 3–9 month sales cycle, from prospecting through closing.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations (with technical support as needed).
  • Build long-term customer relationships to support account growth, renewals, and retention.
  • Collaborate with international product suppliers and stay current on CAE technology advancements.

While direct CAE software experience is not required, interest in engineering technology and a passion for solving complex problems and working with customers are essential.

Qualifications
  • Sales and Marketing skills: Proven experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
  • Technical skills: Familiarity with CAE software, simulation tools, or engineering principles is advantageous.
  • Communication and Presentation skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to deliver persuasive product demonstrations.
  • Organizational skills: Strong planning, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Relevant education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Additional assets: Experience in the engineering or manufacturing industry; knowledge of Hexagon | MSC Software, Moldex3D, or ESI ProCast is a plus.
