Job description

The Skills Development Officer plays a key role in fostering employee growth and organizational development by driving learning programs, employment equity initiatives, and BBBEE compliance while ensuring business objectives are met.

The Skills Development Officer is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring all skills development initiatives within the organization. This includes training and development, employment equity compliance, performance management support, succession planning, and BBBEE skills development contributions. The role ensures that the company meets its Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) and Annual Training Report (ATR) obligations while supporting the overall talent development strategy.

This position requires working closely with department heads, SETAs, training providers, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and maximize skills development benefits for both employees and the organization.

Min Qualifications
  1. Diploma in Human Resource Management
  2. Matric
  3. Minimum 3-5 years experience, preferably in Construction, Engineering, and Manufacturing Industry

CTC: R46000.00 (This includes provident fund, Group Life Cover, and 50% medical aid.)
