Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Services Architect is an advanced subject matter expert and a pre-sales persona working with clients and sales/delivery teams in a value co-creation process.

The role involves designing Technical Services, Support Services & Managed Services solutions across multiple technology domains, developing competitive, innovative, secure, multi-year, viable Managed Services solutions and associated costing inputs, and engaging in solution design and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities :

• Guide virtual teams of domain experts to develop secure, multi-year service solutions.
• Design complex managed service solutions to meet client requirements across multiple domains.
• Collaborate with teams to design service offerings.
• Test, validate, and improve new design features and delivery models.
• Ensure supportability and obtain stakeholder sign-offs for service design deliverables.
• Map client requirements to service architectures and lead end-to-end solution development.
• Support sales teams in presenting solutions and uncovering client growth opportunities.
• Contribute to evolving market strategies and innovative solutions.
• Mentor and advise in service design scenarios.
• Assist in commercial model discussions and ensure accurate costing.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate transition to delivery teams.

Knowledge and Attributes :

• Deep knowledge of Technical, Support, and Managed Services solutions, including cloud and distributed models.
• Experience with costing models, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and emerging technologies.
• Strong communication, workshop facilitation, and team collaboration skills.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• Certifications in ITIL, Service Management, Automation, AI, and Analytics preferred.
• Scaled Agile or equivalent certification desirable.
• Additional vendor certifications such as AWS, Azure are a plus.

Experience :

• Proven track record in designing managed services for large enterprises.
• Experience in structuring profitable multi-year contracts.
• Expertise in solution planning, deal shaping, and working in global delivery environments.
