Job summary

A leading company in the HVAC sector seeks a qualified and experienced Servicing Technician. The role involves maintaining and servicing air conditioning systems both on-site and in the workshop, with occasional travel required for project work outside South Africa. Ideal candidates will have a National Diploma and a Trade Test in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, along with extensive hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Servicing Technician in HVAC.
• Driver’s license - Code B required.
• Specific knowledge of Carel Controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to call outs for HVAC maintenance and servicing.
• Conduct projects at customer sites, including overseas.
• Manage equipment exposure to high noise levels and outside elements.

Job description

Respond to call outs, conduct maintenance and servicing of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and conducts projects at customer sites.

Based at customer sites or the workshop

Exposed to heights, outside elements and high noise levels on a regular basis.

Some project work takes place outside South Africa, so travelling will be required at times.

Requirements :

National Diploma (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning)

Trade Test (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning)

Driver’s license - Code B

Valid safe handling of Refrigerants Card

At least 5 years’ experience as a Servicing Technician in the HVAC Industry
