Qualifications
- Microsoft certification (MCSE, MCITP, or equivalent)
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent
- Cloud platform certification (Azure, AWS, or equivalent)
- Degree or Diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field advantageous
- Strong scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
- Comprehensive experience administering Windows Server environments in an enterprise
- Experience with enterprise storage technologies (NetApp SAN)
- Experience administering Linux-based operating systems (Ubuntu, RHEL)
- Experience with infrastructure automation, DevOps, and IaC tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving across infrastructure, OS, storage, and cloud environments
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot server and infrastructure environments
- Manage Windows-based server platforms with installation, patching, monitoring
- Design, implement, and support Linux infrastructure across hybrid environments
- Administer and optimize enterprise storage platforms (NetApp SAN)
- Develop automation and IaC solutions to support DevOps
- Maintain virtualized infrastructure environments
- Implement and manage Active Directory forests and domains
- Manage enterprise messaging and collaboration environments
- Deliver cloud transformation initiatives and hybrid integrations
- Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Participate in after-hours support and escalations
- Ensure compliance with change management and governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to improve services
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
- Identify opportunities for modernization and automation
- Support secure, resilient IT infrastructure aligned with requirements
