Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Solution Architect to expand our Security Assurance practice and educate customers on product-led, people-powered services that enable secure cloud workloads while meeting compliance objectives. You will work across multiple lines of business to address risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

You will handle a range of compliance obligations, translate them into scalable solutions, and communicate effectively with all levels

Qualifications

• Experience in information security and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Information Security or related fields.
• Experience in risk management and internal audit including risk assessments, audits, controls, enterprise frameworks, and prioritizing risk.
• Experience securing cloud software services and designing for scalability, performance and reliability.
• 3+ years advising customers on architectures meeting industry standards and regulations such as NIST 800-53 and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Expertise – Leads teams that include Amazonians, partners, and customers to enhance security assurance and compliance programs.
• Solutions – Define innovative compliance and risk management approaches to help customers move sensitive workloads onto the cloud faster.
• Delivery – Address security assurance questions and manage risk while operating in the AWS Cloud; provide strategic recommendations and demos of automating compliance.
• Insights – Collaborate with AWS engineering, support and business teams to feed feedback into technology roadmaps.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
