Job summary

Interfront SOC Ltd. in Somerset West is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to help protect enterprise systems and data. You will assess risks, design controls, and collaborate with ICT teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years ICT experience, 5+ years in cybersecurity, solid experience with firewalls, IAM, incident response, cloud security, and Microsoft security stack certifications.

Qualifications

• Matric with 10 years experience or a Bachelors Degree or National Diploma in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
• 7+ years experience in ICT.
• At least 5 years hands-on cybersecurity experience in an enterprise environment.
• Direct experience managing or administering enterprise security technologies (e.g., firewalls, endpoint security, IAM, email security, or security monitoring tools).
• Involvement in incident response/threat investigation and vulnerability management programmes.
• Practical experience securing cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and implementing security controls within these platforms.
• Certifications or hands-on experience with the Microsoft Security Stack: CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, Azure AZ-500

Have you been involved in both incident response/threat investigation and vulnerability management programmes as part of your role?

Do you have practical experience securing cloud environments (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud) and implementing security controls within these platforms?

Do you hold any of the following certifications or have hands-on experience with the Microsoft Security Stack? CISSP CISM CompTIA Security+ Microsoft Security Certifications Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
