Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to analyze network traffic, implement security solutions, and coordinate cross‑functional teams under a Senior Manager. The role includes testing security tools, gathering threat intel, and monitoring alerts across the organization.

The ideal candidate has CISSP/CSSP/CISM and related certifications, with strong problem solving and initiative to drive security improvements within a mid-to-large ICT environment.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of work experience in Cybersecurity and Security Analysis preferred.
• 3-5 years experience required in SOC and/or Cyber roles and IT Security and/or related function in a medium to large ICT organisations, preferably IT service provider.
• Excellent at solving problems and can use your initiative to drive innovation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and report on network traffic and security events.
• Implement IT security solutions and drive security improvements.
• Coordinate with various teams and report to a Senior Manager for daily tasks.
• Test tools/products, and gather threat information using monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk).
• Manage alerts and incident response activities across the organization.

Job description

You will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on network traffic, implementing solutions that provide IT security, and coordinating various teams within the company. You will report directly to one of our Senior Managers in order to receive daily instructions on what is needed from you. This includes all aspects of your job such as: testing tools/products, implementing processes and procedures, gathering information about threats or vulnerabilities across the organization using monitoring tools (such as Splunk), managing alerts etc...
