Job summary

Paracon seeks an SAP BW4HANA Developer to design, build, and maintain BW objects and data models. You will transform business requirements into scalable data assets and partner with analytics teams to deliver robust reporting solutions.

Responsibilities include data extraction from SAP and non-SAP sources, performance optimization, and governance. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, ensuring data accuracy and reliable production support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience as an SAP BW Developer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data models and end-to-end data flows from source systems to reporting layers.
• Configure and maintain Data Sources, ODP contexts, and initialization strategies.
• Design BW Queries using BEx Designer and Eclipse Query Modeling; develop figures and structures.

The SAP BW4HANA Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SAP BW4HANA data models, data acquisition processes, and reporting solutions. The role focuses on transforming business requirements into scalable data assets that enable actionable insights across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, architects, and analytics teams to deliver robust, high-performing data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling & Development

Design, build, and enhance SAP BW4HANA objects, including:

• Info Objects
• ADSOs (Advanced Data Store Objects)
• Composite Providers
• InfoProviders
• Info Sources
• Develop and maintain data models following SAP BW architectural standards and LSA++ methodologies.
• Create and optimize end-to-end data flows from source systems to target reporting layers.
• Develop transformations using:
• Standard mappings
• Formulas
• ABAP routines
• Expert routines

Ensure data models are reusable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Data Acquisition & Integration

Develop and support data extraction and loading processes from:

• Non-SAP systems through integration tools

Configure and maintain:

• Data Sources
• ODP contexts
• Initialization and re-initialization strategies

• Design and maintain BW Queries using:
