About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join our Software Development team within the Information Technology division. Based in Boksburg (onsite), you will lead the development of advanced and integrated technical solutions using SAP ECC 6 ABAP.

You will work closely with Solution Specialists and Business Analysts to translate business needs into scalable, efficient, and secure applications, integrations, and automations. This role demands deep technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for solving complex business challenges through clean code.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical design of complex systems and provide technical input into architecture.
• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality ABAP code aligned with business specifications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise programs for performance and reliability.
• Develop integrations between internal and external systems.
• Maintain and support existing solutions, including system patches and upgrades.
• Project manage coding deliverables, track milestones, and manage risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and engage stakeholders regularly.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

• Clean, high-performing, and scalable ABAP code.
• Well-documented systems that are audit and security compliant (SOX, POPIA, ITGC).
