Job description

We are looking for a Senior Sales Representative to join our Sales Team and oversee activity in the Johannesburg area.

What you will do :

1. Call on Orthopaedic surgeons via rooms, in theatre, hospital tearooms
2. Sell on a daily basis
3. Admin – weekly & monthly reports, stock take, quotes for repairs & product orders
4. Call on Matrons, scrub sisters, pharmacy managers, CSSD sisters, stock controllers
5. Conduct regular workshops with Doctors, scrub sisters, CSSD sisters
6. Collaborate with team as well as other divisions
7. Scrub up for theatre cases – CRICE certified
8. Travel is 70-80% of the time
9. Reside in or near the territory

What you need

1. 5+ years of sales experience in the Sportsmed field with a diploma in a related field
2. Higher education is preferable
3. Knowledge of the Medical Device environment & regulations is a must
4. Excellent communication skills, proficiency in spoken and written English
5. Outgoing, persuasive, and able to deal with diverse beliefs or values
6. Confidence, persistence, patience, and self-motivation
7. Analytical and planning skills
8. Flexible approach to adapt to changes
