Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven and technically skilled Senior Sales Representative to lead business development, manage client relationships, and drive revenue growth.
This role combines hands-on site inspections, project costing, and strategic sales.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial or construction sales and a solid understanding of the technical services we offer.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in sectors such as construction, mining, energy, commercial property, and infrastructure.
Conduct on-site assessments and inspections to evaluate project scope and technical requirements.
Prepare and present accurate quotations, proposals, and tenders based on site conditions and client needs.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing tailored solutions and technical insights.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, consultants, and procurement teams.
Collaborate closely with technical and operations teams to ensure successful project execution.
Maintain a strong sales pipeline and update CRM systems regularly.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and market shifts.
Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Technical Knowledge Required
A solid understanding of the following service areas is essential for success in this role :
Construction – knowledge of structural systems, finishes, and site logistics.
Project Planning and Costing – ability to estimate, price, and plan work accurately.
Painting – industrial and commercial coatings, surface prep, application techniques.
Waterproofing – knowledge of membranes, sealants, torch-on, and liquid-applied systems.
General Building & Industrial Maintenance – includes concrete repair, corrosion protection, joint sealing, etc.
Rope Access – understanding of IRATA systems, capabilities, and limitations in high-access environments.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum 5 years of technical sales experience in construction, industrial services, or a similar sector.
Demonstrated ability to manage the full sales cycle : from lead generation to closing.
Comfortable conducting solo site inspections and pricing work based on findings.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
Experience with rope access-based service offerings.
Preferred :
Existing network of clients or contacts in relevant industries.
Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance (especially work-at-height).
Experience preparing documentation for tenders, bids, and commercial contracts.
