Job summary

A leading luxury lodge and hotel group in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive based in Cape Town. Job description

luxury lodge & hotel group based in Johannesburg; Johannesburg requires an

experienced Senior Sales Executive, based in Cape Town, to secure new business & maintain

existing relationships. Ideally the candidate should have a minimum of 5 years

of experience with a hotel group and have contacts and relationships

with tour operators, travel agents and production houses. We do require someone who is

able to work independently and be target driven.

Scope & General Purpose :

  • To promote the image and services of the company so that maximum growth occurs

through gaining new clients and contracts.

  • Required to manage all aspects of sales, including sourcing and securing new business,

relationship management, database management, business presentations, workshops

and reports.

The requirement includes the following :

  • Matric minimum
  • Tertiary education in Sales & Marketing would be advantageous
  • Minimum 5-year sales experience in Hospitality Industry with proven track record

Previous experience in the Hospitality industry and STO inbound sales essential

Ability to conduct presentations and meetings both professionally and with confidence

Valid RSA ID

Valid Driver’s License

Position includes travel

Must be available to attend functions after hours

Dynamic self-starter with excellent negotiation skills

Personality profile to match relevant skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Team player with high level of dedication

Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
