Job summary

company is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to retain 90% of existing business and expand market share by securing new accounts. The role ensures monthly and annual sales budgets are met and that products and services are delivered to customers per SLA, following established sales procedures during calls.

Key responsibilities include customer visits, audits, timely quotations, accurate record-keeping, and active marketing participation such as exhibitions and market research.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 is required.
• Degree in Metallurgy, Chemistry, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: respond to all client requests within 24 hours, visit customers as scheduled, perform plant/process/site audits, maintain customer satisfaction, conduct site stock takes.
• Administration: capture customer information after visits, submit weekly call plans and site visit reports, reconcile expenditures, prepare quotations, collect marketing material, provide quotation and probability feedback.
• Marketing: attend exhibitions as discussed with Manager, conduct market research in designated areas, deliver customer presentations, support opportunities with point-of-sale material, present quarterly market research to management.
