Job description

We are seeking a Senior Sales Engineer with extensive experience in petrochemicals and EPC execution to drive growth and sustainability within the organization.

A key focus for this position is driving client engagement to diversify the client base.

The role includes developing and executing sales strategies for clients and regions, from initial engagement to proposal submission and handover to the project team.

The successful candidate will be required to fulfill the role as summarized below, but not limited to:

  1. Develop in-depth knowledge of thyssenkrupp Uhde’s technology portfolio and project execution models (EP, EPC, EPCM).
  2. Continuously research and analyze markets and opportunities, monitor bid sites and platforms.
  3. Maintain leads and proposals database.
  4. Review tender documents and provide the following:
    • Facilitate bid/no bid meetings to obtain bid decisions.
    • Compile bid initiation documents.
    • Determine submission compliance requirements.
    • Allocate bid team as per work breakdown structure.
    • Facilitate bid kick-off meetings with the bid team.
    • Allocate and manage bid budget and schedule.
    • Develop a win strategy with the bid team.
  5. Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and Construction to ensure costs are correct and optimized.
  6. Ensure resumes, references, and method statements align with tender submission requirements.
  7. Consolidate inputs and compile estimates.
  8. Develop compliant tender submission documentation, integrating and editing technical and commercial inputs from internal and external parties.
